Doctors of Indore FAQ
Patient FAQ
Quick answers for finding providers, booking appointments, using discounts, navigating to clinics, and managing confirmed visits.
Find The Right Provider
How do I search for a doctor or physiotherapist?
Use the search and speciality pages to filter by speciality, area, condition, clinic, or provider name. Open the profile first, compare details, then book only when you are comfortable.
How are Top Doctors decided?
Top Doctors are selected through a complex, unbiased technology-assisted calculation using multiple factors such as profile quality, verification signals, relevance, reviews, availability, and recent activity. Exact ranking logic is private to protect fairness and prevent manipulation.
What should I check before booking?
Check the DOI Certified badge, qualification, experience, clinic area, consultation fee, reviews, profile updates, and whether clinic or home visit is available.
What does DOI Certified mean?
It means the profile has passed Doctors of Indore verification checks before being shown as certified. It does not replace your own medical judgment.
Why is the registration number not shown?
Registration numbers and private identifiers are not displayed publicly. DOI shows a certification badge to communicate verification without exposing sensitive personal information.
Book Appointment
How does appointment booking work?
You choose a preferred date, visit type, reason, and consent checkbox. The clinic or provider then selects the appointment time and confirms or declines your request.
Do I need Aadhaar to book?
No. Aadhaar is not required in this stage. The booking form uses your logged-in patient account details.
Why does the form not ask my name and mobile?
For logged-in patients, name and mobile are taken from the patient account to keep booking fast and reduce repeated typing.
Can I select appointment time?
At present, patients request a date. The clinic or provider selects the time while confirming the appointment.
Where do I see confirmed time?
Confirmed appointment time appears in your patient dashboard and in the confirmation email sent after the provider accepts.
Discounts And Fees
How do DOI discounts work?
If a provider offers a DOI discount, the profile booking button shows the discount percentage. Eligible bookings show the discounted payable amount in your appointment records.
Why do some providers not show a discount?
Discount availability depends on that provider profile. You can still book normal-fee appointments where discount is not available.
Can I book more than one appointment?
Yes, but limits apply to prevent misuse: maximum 2 appointment requests per day, maximum 5 appointment requests per calendar month, only 1 active appointment per provider, and appointment deletion is not available.
After Confirmation
What do I receive after confirmation?
You receive provider name, clinic name, clinic address, navigation link, appointment date, selected time, and Clinic Contact Number.
Where is the navigation button?
After confirmation, your patient dashboard appointment card shows a Navigate button when clinic location coordinates are available.
How do I call the clinic?
After confirmation, your patient dashboard shows a Call Clinic button using the approved Clinic Contact Number.
What if I am running late?
Use the Clinic Contact Number from your confirmation email or dashboard and inform the clinic as early as possible.
Will I get reminders?
Yes. The system sends a reminder on the appointment date around 9 AM and another reminder before the appointment time when possible.
Safety And Support
Can I report an issue?
Yes. After an appointment is confirmed, completed, or declined, your appointment card can show a report option. Reports go to site managers.
When can I review a provider?
After the provider marks the appointment as completed, your patient dashboard shows the option to submit a review.
Is DOI a hospital or medical advice service?
No. Doctors of Indore is a healthcare directory and appointment request platform. Medical decisions should be made directly with qualified professionals.
How do I contact support?
Use the Raise Support Ticket page with your patient account, or use the report option on the relevant appointment card.
